Life always feels hard, you don’t feel you have a purpose, you struggle with loneliness even if you are in a room full of people. You might feel somewhat disconnected and numb, wondering to yourself what is the point to all of this. The lessons life throws at you always feel the same – you don’t notice any progress. You might have depression that won’t ease up or a cycle of life that continues to feel empty. Maybe you body is always fighting off some kind of condition or disease. This is not an exhaustive list but if there is something here resonating then maybe you are being called to make changes.

My work in Peru with Ayahuasca
My experience with Ayahuasca medicine started back in 2018, not from any great calling but more like a last resort to staying alive. Sounds dramatic but I was in bad shape from a life time of reasons and through a trusted person where I lived at the time, the introduction to Ayahuasca was made.
I’m not going to say it was an immediate transformation like so many other people spruke. However it was a turning point. More so because it gave me hope, but it certainly didn’t mean it was an easy road ahead. In fact I’m still not sure what harder, the healing for the last 6 years or the crappy stuff I had to heal from. The jury is still out on that one!
Either way the road ahead is definitley brighter. AND what I didn’t realise is that all the hard work I was doing on myself was actually a first hand education for helping others.
It’s not about how much Ayahuasca anymore…
You get to a certain point in training and ceremonies where it’s not about how many times you sit with medicine, it’s about the connection you make with the medicine itself and what you can learn from each experience. My first trip to Peru was in 2019 and I have been returning every year (accept covid year) to continue my training. I realise now it’s a lifelong mission but my Maestro (pictured right after my graduation ceremony in 2023) Herberto Garcia or his Shapibo name: Niwen Koshi, said “Charliecita, your heart is ready”, “share this medicine and it’s teachings with the world.”
So here I am taking my first steps…

With over 25 years experience as a Life Strategist & Behavioral Change Counselor working with a broad range of people from high performance athletes and domestic violence victims to business professionals and homeless people. Charlie’s own intense healing journey allowed her to focus on a soul-led career as a Spiritual Mentor, Modern Day Mystic & Medicine Woman, Teacher and now a Digital Nomad for almost 10 years.
Over the last decade she travelled the globe working intensely, with Shamans, Curenderos, Elders and Wisdom keepers discovering techniques and methods that can release the energies of trauma and pain often trapped in the body causing disease and mental illness.
Since embracing this work Charlie has released and healed her own childhood traumas and ancestral lineage and found amazing insights into the stories, she believed prevented her from experiencing any form of a loving successful relationship.
